Do you remember the last time you got off a plane and got that wonderful sea breeze? Very often it means holiday and if you are lucky enough it will also mean… awesome Ibiza vacation! 🙌
Whether you are a party traveller or want to enjoy clear island waters and secret beaches, you will fall in love with Ibiza and it’s sunset.
We chose a nice hotel in Playa d’en Bossa, in the Southern part of the island. We felt this hotel had the perfect balance between practicality (with free parking next door and a kitchen), and the luxuries of a SPA, swimming pool and possibly the best hotel breakfast I’ve seen.
Really Great Location
For an island vacation, you MUST rent a car if you don’t want to miss the most beautiful spots. I would recommend to pick it up at the airport and drive directly to the hotel, which is less than 20 minutes away from the airport. The roads are nice, and Google Maps will take you there in a blink. We used this price-comparison website if you want to take a look.

We just arrived to the gorgeous @migjornibiza . This was the grand entrance to the hotel, and wait to see our suite! 💕🎍 :::::::::: What can be better than being in a beautiful island with a shining sun and a new handbag? 🤩🌴 :::::::::: #ibiza #ss18 #handbag #fashion #migjornexperience #migjornibiza
Congratulations, you have arrived at your destination! 😍 Migjorn Suites & SPA in Playa d’en Bossa, is here!
We loved the vibe of the hotel. It is a very distinct Ibiza vibe – the white-coloured walls, music, lighting, scent…
What’s best, the hotel is within walking distance from the beach. The area is lively without becoming crowded and has lots of restaurants and shops, including a “hippy” market! ✌️
Facilities: Top Notch
Every room has a kitchen and the hotel has a supermarket which is super convenient if you would like to take a bite with you on your Ibiza adventures. The supermarket is well priced too – even cheaper than other nearby supermarkets outside of the hotel!
The Migjorn has two awesome swimming pools with palm trees to relax at night. It’s a great place to have a drink and maybe a swim before the day is over.
The SPA was super cool too. All you need to do is tell reception when you would like to use it. We were the only ones there and it had a nice circuit.
The hotel will provide you with as many towels as you need. What’s best, you can also take your towels to the beach so you don’t have to worry about packing it in your luggage ❤️
Rooms: Super Cool, Comfy
The rooms decor is very modern. It had great living space with a living room, kitchen and two rooms, so we kept one as out private walk-in wardrobe! You see, if you book directly on the hotel’s website, they will always give you the best available room.
The bed was very comfy and we called reception to get an arsenal of pillows.
UNIC: Fine Cuisine for Your Hot Date
Food is perhaps what we liked the most about Migjorn Suites & SPA. David Grussaute’s menu was extraordinary – bridging Mediterranean food with more experimental exotic dishes. I think a picture speaks more than a thousand words:
The waiter was very pleasant and knew the cuisine very well. He listened to our requirements carefully and recommended some excellent dishes. I am quite demanding when it comes to food, and they genuinely cared to exceed my expectations. Honestly, bravo, they amazed me.
The restaurant itself is quite unique too – very intimate, relaxing and open-air. Perfect restaurant for dates 🌹
There is one more restaurant at the hotel which is more casual. The food was also outstanding if you want a quick bite.
Small Things Make The Difference
The hotel team speaks every possible language and were very happy to advice great places to visit on the island. My next post is a travel guide and some of those places were as per the hotel team’s recommendation.
Migjorn was an experience to the senses. We had an awesome time there and it served as an oasis of calm in one of my favourite holidays yet. Ibiza is right up on my list of favourite destinations, and I would definitely go back to Migjorn Suites & SPA when I’m back in the island.
