Little boy dressed up as a Hindu deity Lord Shiva at the holy festival in Pushkar. Photo was taken in the streets of Pushkar, where he was accepting money/offerings from the passing by locals and tourists. In the Hindu religion/culture offerings are considered to be a good luck. His mother was at his side all the time, watching over him. It’s custom for kids and adults to get dressed up as a Hindu Gods/Goddesses during religious festivals. ===================================== 🚩Pushkar, Rajasthan 🇮🇳November 2014. ===================================== ©️Magdalena Bagrianow Photography ===================================== #pushkar #albumdenyansiyanlar #clickindiaclick #delhigram #desi_diaries #everydayindia #humanity_shots_ #india_ig #ig_respect #india_gram #indiaclicks #indianphotography #indianshutterbugs #incredibleindiaofficial #mypixeldiary #maharashtra_ig #official_photography_hub #portraitmood #portrait_perfection #storiesofindia #streetsofindia #streetphotographyindia #turkobjektif #travelrealindia #_soi #lonelyplanetindia

Shramona Poddar

Just like me, Sharmona loves sunsets. She has a great sense of aesthetic which results in good photographs. What I like the most about her is that she isn’t the snobbish type of Instagrammer you sometimes find.

Here's sharing one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite movies. Hope you're all having a happy Saturday. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun. If you want to get more out of life, you must lose your inclination for monotonous security and adopt a helter-skelter style of life that will at first appear to you to be crazy. But once you become accustomed to such a life you will see its full meaning and its incredible beauty. ~ Into the Wild. #MishtiAndMeatTravels #MishtiandMeatinMeghalaya #travel #intothewild #quotes #travel #meghalaya #indiapictures #indiaclicks #storiesofindia #incredibleindia #shotoncanon #wildcraft

In Shinto culture, Torii Gates are placed outside of all sacred places, indicating the transition from the material to the spiritual world. Shintoism is the original religion of Japan, alongside Buddhism which coexisted peacefully alongside it. . And it’s notable how in all Eastern cultures, the concept of gates or doorways play an important role in sacred spaces. Although there are many different forms, they all signify one thing; the transition from one realm to another. . In fact each and every thing in a temple has not only a metaphorical, but also practical significance. Temples were constructed and rituals were performed in order to manipulate the flow of energy in a particular place and assist humans to access higher levels of conciousness. . But nowadays, many people perform rituals out of a blind following. They may understand the intellectual properties of things, but may not know them directly through experience. And so, the only way to find out is to be conscious; to be so wholly aware of everything that the experience simply can’t escape you. . 📸 @thegingerwanderlust edited myself

Our mind is like water. The clearer our thoughts further we can see.⠀ ⠀ This picture was clicked at Umngot River, in Meghalaya. The Umngot river is the cleanest and clearest river in India. You could see all the way to the bottom. The boats look as if they are floating in mid-air.⠀ ⠀ So, when are you visiting Meghalaya?⠀ ⠀ Have you applied for any or all of the six #AltoWOW road trips around India? If not, do it now. Check @msofficialarena and @outlooktraveller for details.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ #travel #wanderlust #girlswhotravel #passionpassport #instaclick #instagood #photoftheday #worldnomads #abmlifeiscolorful #travelgram #instatravel #vacation #igtravel #travelphotography #travelling #dametraveler #TLPicks #naturephotography #nature_perfection #scenicshots #travelseewrite #India #roadtrip #water #lifeofadventure #beautifuldestinations #instadaily

That only time when everything works as per plan.🙏🤞 . The cherry blossom forecast ditched me in Tokyo and Kyoto, but was accurate for Mount Fuji.👌 The weather prediction was perfect and everyone told me that it was one of the best days in terms of visibility for Mount Fuji! . And, I finally clicked my picture perfect.🗻😍 . But, don't be deceived by the peace in this picture…wait for my Insta stories to see how beautiful, yet crazy this place was! 😋 . . . . #visitjapan #traveljapan #myjapan #japantourism #discoverjapan #lovetokyo #igerstokyo #visittokyo #tlpicks #timeoutsociety #lovejapan #explorejapan #thisisjapan #beautifuljapan #japantravel #japan_vacations #bbctravel #culturetrip #japanrevealed #unknownjapan #exploringjapan #japanculture #passionpassport #theshootingstar #mountfuji #kawaguchiko #chureitopagoda #cherryblossoms #lakekawaguchiko #fujisan

After 2.5 months of traveling in Bali and surrounding islands, I am finally at my dream destination – Nusa Penida. Day 1 was super exciting as I drove 4 hours (back and forth) on the worst road I have ever ridden a bike on. In most places it was just like a hill with rocks you had to conquer with your rickety automatic scooter. The blazing sun added to the exhaustion but THIS view made it all worth it. KelingKing beach aka T-Rex (coz of the shape) is one of the most popular attractions of the island…I can see why 🙂 SO much to see and do in this pretty pretty place 😍 I am already smitten. …. …. #nusapenida #kelingkingbeach #kelingking #trex #nusaislands #beachy #ilovebeach #islandlifestyle #islandgirl #wonderfulindonesia #indonesiatrip #femaletravelbloggers #gltlove #passionpassport #dametraveler #ladieswhotravel

Just found this picture that I clicked last year when I trekked for 5 days from Manali to Spiti Valley 💪 with @Gio_adventures and crossed Hampta pass. . This is Balu ka Ghera and it was my favorite campsite ⛺️ because there were pretty flowers 💐 , many water streams, lovely horses 🐎 and a little snow. . . Ohh and I saw this season's first snowfall in Germany 🇩🇪 today – check my IG stories to join the fun. . In real time, I’ve just arrived in Kyoto and think I’m high on all the sakura (cherry blossoms) in bloom! And feeling really strange seeing SO many tourists – for after the great wilderness of Yakushima Island, I spent a few days on the rural (magical) countryside of the Kansai region, hosted by a Japanese guy who I swear could be a character from Murakami’s books 😉 . . But before I share those surreal stories, I just need to tell you that the sakura are worth every bit of the hype. I haven’t yet taken out my camera in Kyoto, wanting to just soak it all in, but here’s another picture from the early sakura bloom in Tokyo, next to its concrete jungle of skyscrapers 💜 . . Got recommendations for quiet sakura spots and awesome vegan food in Kyoto? Send them my way please! . .
