6 Awesome Things To Do in Spain This Summer

Today it’s been a year since I moved to sunny Spain. A year of discovering every corner of this diverse land of old kings, Island paradises, and raw nature.

Living in Madrid has the advantage of living right at the center of the country, so most of the top places to visit in Spain are in a 3-hour drive radius.

If you are looking for some inspiration, these are some of the most awesome things to do in Spain!

By the way, here is a 15€ discount for your hotel stay 🙂

Visit the theme parks in Barcelona

Port Aventura in Salou was a thrilling experience with lots of roller coasters and an amazing ambiance. The park is divided into zones that represent different parts of the world. Here is Indonesia:

Stay at the Westin Valencia (and try a glass of horchata!)

Valencia is a wonderful city with great beaches, orange trees and, yes, horchata! The traditional drink from Valencia.

Stay at Cortijo Fain and explore Andalusia, the most beautiful region in Spain

This old Andalusian farmhouse is in a beautiful land near Cadiz. Don’t forget to go up the hill in the evening – enjoy the sunset!

Experience the raw nature of Asturias

I’m not surprised that the Game of Thrones crew decided to film some takes not far from there.

Just living is not enough… one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.✨ ============ This was a completely unplanned trip. We went to #Oviedo for a collaboration with @ayrehoteles and the lady in reception recommended us to visit a couple places in #gijon and #llanes ⛰ ============ Every time I visit some new a place I make a list of natural reserves to tick off from my #bucketlist but this time I was like let me just go with the flow. There it is this gorgeous view of the #atlanticocean 🌊 The blog post based on #asturias will be out tomorrow can’t wait to share. “#staytuned “ 🌞 ============ #naturalreserve #goodmorning #buenosdias #goodmorningpost #positivevibes

Keep at least 2 days to explore Granada

Granada is my top city in Spain. Absolutely recommended. Please go now!

Watch the sunset from the roofs of Seville

A very special colour palette that you will remember for life. There are also bike tours and a lot of jewels like the Plaza of España.

Great ideas! I love Spain. I’ve been there three times and there’s still so much more to see. Nidhi, where did you live before?

    1. Thank you so much Aixa, it’s been a year and I’m still not over it. So much to discover. I used to live in India before Spain. Let’s hope this year I get to wander new country. 😍 May be one day I’ll meet you in this small world. 🌎

  2. I’ve never given a lot of thought to Spain, but I think you’ve changed my mind. There looks like so much natural beauty to explore. I previously only thought about the architecture I’d like to see. Thanks for the guide.
