Yes, you have read right! Of course, it wouldn’t be convenient to travel with your horse, so here is a hotel where you can have an awesome time in the company of these beauties!
We have begun to explore the surroundings of Madrid, and Toledo is one of the places we were most excited about. Life is hectic and we wanted a weekend out of the ordinary. Obviously finding a good hotel is as important as the destination itself, and we found the best!
Spa, horse riding and a glass of champagne surrounded by olive trees is all you can ask for. Sounds good? I am talking about Villa Nazules Hotel & SPA.
I always wanted a pony as a child and every birthday was a disappointment. But finally, I achieved my life-long dream! He was so adorable! Jupiter and I became friends at first sight. It made me incredibly happy to see so many horses and ponies roaming around free. Still, a few of them came for scatches as soon as we arrived!
The instructor at the equestrian center was incredibly passionate and answered our many questions about horses in perfect English. She knew all horses by name. It was a very special morning.
The food at the hotel is outstanding, and the wine menu is made out of a great variety of local wines and big international names. We accepted the sommelier’s suggestion and went for a local cava, a white, fizzy drink from the region.
On Sunday, we visited the SPA. Only the view of subtle hills and olives made you relaxed but, to make it better, the hotel has a very complete hot and cold water circuit. It’s chilling time!
The experience was definitely above my expectations, but there is a small detail that really reached my heart. On Sunday, as we were leaving the breakfast buffet, one of the waiters approached us and said, “are you leaving? I hope you have enjoyed a good weekend with us.” He wasn’t just saying — he was asking.
This really made my day. Something so simple yet so sincere. It is just not easy to find hotels in which the team genuinely cares so much to give you a memorable stay.
