I got lost wandering around in the city of Zaragoza, a 2,000-year-old town just in between Madrid and Barcelona.
This friendly city has vestiges of the Roman, Moorish, Jewish and Christian communities, and some ‘Zaragozanos’ will tell you it’s the best place for tapas!
The must-see spot in Zaragoza is El Pilar, a 17th-century cathedral, one of the most impressive I’ve ever seen.

The Basilica venerates Blessed Virgin Mary, under her title, Our Lady of the Pillar praised as “Mother of the Hispanic Peoples” by Pope John Paul II. It is reputed to be the first church dedicated to Mary in history.
Visitors can enjoy the view from the top of the tower at an extra cost of 3€.
In the year 1936, during the Spanish civil war, three bombs dropped on the Cathedral of El Pilar, and the Virgin Mary prevented them from exploding in what it was thought to be a miracle!
Zaragoza is a cozy small city surrounded by a magnificent landscape.
The bit on styling: I wanted to give a little touch of classic Spanish style to my look so I wore a Zara cold shoulder maxi dress. I love this outfit, every time I wear it I get compliments (who doesn’t want that, right?) I added a touch of red with red lips (MAC StuddKiss) and last but not least tear drop earning.
Details: DIY Shoes, I picked my old shoes and stuck crystal stickers from a stationary store. Don’t they look like Cinderella shoes now? As good as new.
Trust me it’s pretty simple to do.
We, women, love jewels so here is a close-up shot.
