Throwback to “Safari World”, Bangkok

If you’ve read my earlier posts, you already know a lot about my week-long trip to Phuket, Patong, Bangkok and Krabi in Thailand.

The trip was on a budget and the package cost 65,000 rupees per person which is a steal given that 4-star hotels, tours and transportation were included.

I would suggest spending some time researching about tours and not sticking to the standard ones offered by most tour operators. There are a lot of tourist traps in Thailand. We, somehow, ended up in a ‘city tour’ which consisted of visits to souvenir shops – not exactly the perfect plan!

If you are in Thailand, a visit to Safari World is mandatory. There is some debate about animal rights but animals seemed really happy and lively.

Beautiful vibe by colorful Macaw

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by these beauties! They are found mainly in South America.

Safari World is composed of 2 parks: Marine Park and Safari Park. The later one is best known for its open zoo. We spent the whole day there before catching our return flight. We loved it! There is nothing better than enjoying time with animals. Trust me, you will get time with them – hugging them and kissing them!

The entry fee is 750 Baht per person but you can sometimes find better deals online.

Big wild cat

Yes! That’s right you can feed cute wild tiger cubs. Tiger and lion cubs feeding starts from 10:0am so make sure you’re there on time. But even if you missed it, you can pay  400 extra bath to feed them. This includes a picture that you can collect at the end of the day. Oh My My! They smell so good. I want one! 😀

Let’s pose together 😉

The cutest ‘n’ tallest mammal from Africa.

I had never seen a giraffe before. They are such weird and funny animals – I was so excited to see them. There were at least 200 giraffes at the park, with a feeding counter. They will take the food out of your hands with their sleekly tongue, it’s so cool! They are also very friendly, you can touch them and see their soft and textured skin. I felt so connected with these animals!

The joy of being a kid again!
Beautiful Color pallet

This bird had a beautiful plumage that inspired an autumnal colour palette. Nature is a great source of inspiration for fashion.

“My soulmate”

This beauty is a precious species from Indonesia and Malaysia.

While walking around the park, we found this beautiful cute Orang-utan kid that was with her caretaker. They are so adorable! I just can’t express my feelings with words. The moment I got back to India, I researched on adopting an Orang-utan but they aren’t a species that would be happy in our human world.  They are generally found in rainforest regions and they live with their mother for up to three years after they’re born.

Out of all animals in Sarafi World, the Orang-utan was my favorite – the way she held my hand and walked around with me was blissful.

Last but not least, the Big Cats! All of us have seen this one behind the bars of a zoo. It just feels different when you see so many of them roaming around free. Superb!

Safari World made me a kid again for a day!

Some tips

River safari – Skip it! Expensive and nothing as such to see

Open Zoo – Lots of animals which you don’t get to see in city zoos

Don’t miss Utterly Buttery Pop-corn and Zebra ice cream. Yummy in my tummy!

      1. Thanks not expensive at all.

Yes I am surprised to see you are not getting that much attention. Honestly you post are very quality post.

Why I am that much glued in, I am planning for a vacation so these days, when I get time, I look what each place has to offer.

Plus I love to know geography, so everything goes in my memory.

We planned for Southeast Asia but me and wife were more interested in Vietnam if you haven’t you should.

Thailand is also interesting for me, since my little will definitely go gaga when I will take to zoo. So your post, will be very handy for me to go into. Saves considerable amount of time.

I’m glad my posts are helping you to plan your vacation, yes it’s not expensive at all (quite budget friendly)

Whenever you get time there’s post based on resort in Karabi (were we stayed) and other island hopping post might be a great help to plan your vacation.

        Have a good day 🙂

      3. You have to see Vietnam, Google it, small country not big, their tea plantation area is awesome and breathtaking.

Yes, that’s what I was observing in your post. How is the weather to visit Spain in this time of the year. I believe a bit hot and humid.

We are planning for Turkey and than later to Egypt as well. And if possible UK in August. If I get off.

Will definitely have your post locked for the things to do in Thailand.

      4. Yes I’ve heard about Vietnam 🇻🇳 and it’s definitely on my list.

Weather here is nice the summer is here 🙂

Depending on which part of Spain you are (more towards the shore it’s humid)

Wow! It’s nice plan for vacation (I haven’t really been to Turkey and Egypt) U.K. Yes.

Enjoy your vacation, and lots of post coming up on Spain 🇪🇸 (stay tuned)

        Bon voyage ✈️

      5. Turkey and Egypt ideal time to visit, the weather is not hot, the rates are low due to poor tourism.

So check the rates I was getting 5 star hotel on Nile at a fraction of cost.

Haven’t yet did the booking for Turkey, but Turkey always not that expensive on boarding and louging part I have observed.

I would suggest first Turkey than Egypt. But keep in mind, the political scenario in both places. It can get into from drama to soap opera anytime.
