Krabi – 4 Island – Emerald cave tour by speed boat

Me and my better half went on a breathtaking island hopping tour in the tropical hot spots of the Krabi area in Thailand: Phra Nang Cave / Railay (Rai-Leh) beach, Tup Island, Chicken Island and  Poda Island.

Swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, kayaking, exploring and photography are the main activities to enjoy. Expect plenty of sun, a rich variety of corals and fish, crystal-clear waters and white powdery beaches lined with coconut palms.

The Poda island is a big beautiful part of the Krabi sea

The soft white sandy beaches over-looking the clear blue sea are the perfect place to spend a lazy noon and listen to the sound of the waves murmuring onto the beach.

Wandering around the lusty green are of Poda island

We extended the stay at Railay beach Rai Leh. It is a small peninsula between the city of Krabi and Ao Nang in Thailand. It is accessible only by boat due to high limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access. These cliffs attract rock climbers from all over the world, but the area is also popular due to its beautiful beaches and quiet relaxing atmosphere.

To rent a Kayak is convenient to explore the stunning surroundings and cliff caves. The fauna includes monkeys, lizards and many pretty birds. It is quite relaxing to float in this silent world and the sea water is lake-like even in rough conditions.

I would highly recommend to stay at one of the few beach resorts in Rai Leh. They are beautiful and pocket-friendly.

Paradise indeed

Poda is an excellent place to visit no matter what time you arrive, but to experience it at it’s greatest potential and most stunning views, opt to take a sunset boat tour or island cruise.  The most popular and economical choice, especially for those who like action packed day tours is to select the 7 island sunset tour which departs from Ao Nammao Pier in Ao Nang.
